The Tooba Foundation believes that healthcare is not a privilege—it’s a right. In 2024, we launched the Health Card Program to make quality medical care affordable and accessible for underprivileged individuals and families across Karachi.
Program Report 2024
To date, 5,633 health cards have been issued under this program, directly improving the health and well-being of thousands of people who otherwise could not afford proper treatment.
Key Features of the Health Card
Coverage up to Rs. 400,000 for medical treatment
Maternity support up to Rs. 60,000
Accepted at 102 hospitals across Karachi
Affordable premiums:
Standard: Rs. 5,000
Subsidized (for low-income individuals): Rs. 2,000
How It Works
The card functions as a prepaid health insurance system, offering cashless treatment for approved medical procedures. Cardholders can access a wide range of treatments—from general checkups to surgeries—without the stress of high medical bills.
